Adam Calleja

Before Adam pursued education, he was writing stories for DIG Magazine at Long Beach State where he would go on to receive a BA in Journalism. During his last year of undergrad, he accepted a position as a basketball coach at Pioneer High School in his hometown of Whittier. The 6 month role was planned to be just a fun source of income to aid his last year of college, but it would actually change the trajectory of Adamś life.

Adam discovered a new found passion and love. He found inspiration in the youth and was intrigued with the field of education. After working as an instructional aide for WUHSD, Adam developed a passion for equal opportunity and knew Special Education was what he wanted to pursue.

In his free time Adam loves anything that includes music, basketball or lifting heavy weights. Concerts, Laker games or the beach are where you will typically find him.
