Jose Pinzon

Jose is a native of Long Beach. He has a B.A. in History from Cal State University, Long Beach and has professional experience working in migrant education.

During his undergraduate program, Jose joined California Mini-Corps – an organization which provides educational services to students who have a migrant background. During these years, he filled various roles: from being a tutor, translator, and teacher. He used his fluency in Spanish plus is cultural background to create connections with his students and provide them with one-on-one academic assistance. In addition, he is passionate about history and is always eager to inspire a love for studying the pasting his students.

In his free time, Jose enjoys exploring, finding museums, restaurants, or any roadside curiosity. He is well-traveled, enjoys reading and antique shopping.
